Arsenal take on Mark Hughes’ Stoke City side at the Emirates Stadium for their 5th Premier League match of the 2015/2016 season.

Arsene Wenger will have German pair Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker available: the pair have recovered from injury and illness respectively.

Ozil is expected to return striaght into the starting XI, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain set to make way, while Mertesacker will hope for a recall in central defence ahead of Gabriel.

Laurent Koscielny has also returned to training after failing to start France’s last game with a minor injury problem.

Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal should continue in the full-back berths.

Further forward, the central striker’s spot remains up for grabs, with Olivier Giroud hoping to usurp Theo Walcott having started on the bench at Newcastle.

Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere remain on the sidelines through injury.

Having said this, here is how the boss is expected to line-up his side against Stoke City.
