Arsenal vs Watford: Premier League match-week 5 Preview

At last, the international break is over and regular league football returns this weekend to the delight of many fans. But we Arsenal fans will have to wait till Sunday before we get to see our beloved Gunners in action.

Arsenal welcome London rivals Watford to the Emirates Stadium this weekend for their Premier League game week 5 for the season.

Watford on their part will have a point to prove as they make the short trip across London in company of “new”, but former manager Quique Sanchez Flores, who was resigned by the club’s hierarchy over the international break.

Surely the manager’s return to the club will serve as a boost in confidence for the Hornets who have performed poorly since the start of the season, which is why several bookmakers such as bet now are backing Watford under their new manager to put in a good shift against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.

After four games played so far this season, Watford under their former boss, Javi Garcia, managed three losses, one draw and zero wins. Leaving them at the bottom of the League table with just one point, having conceded 8 goals in the process.

Arsenal on the other hand seat in 5th position on the log, but level on points (7) with 4th placed Crystal Palace. The Gunners have managed 1 loss, one draw and two wins in their four games played so far this season, scoring 6 goals this season and equally conceding 6.

Surely, this London derby will not be treated by Arsenal boss Emery, as a 5th placed team taking on another team lying in 20th position on the log.

Watford are always known to cause Arsenal trouble, be it on their home patch or away from home at the Emirates, and so the Gunners will be in for a real physical battle.

Both teams definitely have a point to prove, with Watford perhaps, having the most point to prove under their new manager and new tactics and online casino as well as several pundits believes the new tactics and formation will work in their favour to push their season in a positive direction.
