Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger appears to have aimed a subtle- yet- devastating dig at Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side.
Chelsea are currently 14th place on the Premier League log after mounting the worst title defence in Premier league history, while Arsenal are firmly in the title hunt despite their recent run of poor result in the league, losing 2-1 to the Baggies at the Hawthorns and drawing 1-1 with Norwich City at Carrow Road.
The French man has refused to count the Blues out of the title race by saying: Mathematically you cannot rule them (Chelsea) out- even ‘’THE BOTTOM TEAMS’’ are in it.
Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger have been involve in series of brawls in the past with the Chelsea boss referring to Wenger as specialist in failure. They even had a touchline shoving at each other that resulted in the FA dishing out fines to both managers.
In this season curtain raiser (Charity Shield), Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho ignored each other at the blast of the final whistle after Arsene Wenger got his first win against a team coached by Mourinho. While Mourinho was congratulating Arsenal players; he somehow ignored Wenger and when both sides met at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho’s side won 2-0 with Wenger dashing into the dressing room after the game, not offering hand shake to Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho last week said he wants Olympiakos to qyalify ahead of Arsenal; not minding the coefficient ratio by claiming Olympiacos coach his his childhood friend and would want the Portuguese coach to qualify ahead of Arsenal. The last has not been heard of these two coaches as Mourinho would definitely hit back at Wenger.
