Alexis Sanchez is free to leave Arsenal in the January transfer window – if the Gunners recieve offers in the region of £35million.
The Chilean was denied a move to Manchester City last summer and Arsene Wenger has maintained throughout the season that he will not be sold in January.
However, Sanchez – who is out of contract at the end of the season – has concerned staff with his poor attitude and Wenger wants his players to be fully committed for the second half of the season.
Manchester City would rather wait until the summer to bag Sanchez on a free but they risk losing him in January if rivals such as Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich produce the cash Arsenal are looking for.
Sanchez is keen on leaving the Emirates as soon as possible and Arsenal will consider bids in the region of £35m, according to the Daily Mail.
The Chilean’s team-mates are said to be furious with his attitude in recent weeks and exchanged heated words after the side’s 1-1 draw with Southampton in early December.
Wenger has largely stuck by Sanchez despite his complaints but there’s a sense that the club will be better of selling him in January.
