Arsenal are in the market for more players before the window shuts in the next few days and have reportedly intensified their efforts to sign Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado.
Arsene Wenger has made only two signings this summer; Sead Kolasinac joined on a free transfer while Alexandre Lacazette was signed in a club-record deal from Lyon, and he wants to add the third player with signing a wide-man now his priority.
Cuadrado was linked with a move to the North London club earlier this summer though the Gunners boss had set his sight on bringing Monaco star Thomas Lemar to the Emirates Stadium, he however, failed in his attempts to land the France international.
And it appears Arsenal have now shifted their attentions to signing Cuadrado from Juventus, with Italian publication Transfermarketweb reporting that the Premier League club are planning to bring the Colombian international back to England.
Cuadrado had a six-month short spell with Chelsea having joined them from Fiorentina in 2015 but was sent out to Juventus where he spent two seasons on loan before the Italian champions made the move permanent in May in a deal worth £17 million.
The right winger was in impressive form for the Old Lady last season, scored two goals and set up another six in 30 appearances in the Serie A.
However, Arsenal may still have to look elsewhere as Juventus boss Max Allegri is reportedly not ready to sell the 29-year-old who has also attracted interests from Inter Milan and Roma.
