Aston Villa are pursuing loan moves for Chelsea’s Loic Remy and Arsenal’s Joel Campbell, according to reports.
The Villians are desperate to sign at least one new striker in January in a bid to turn their season around.
Both Loic Remy and Joel Campbell have struggled for playing time at their respective clubs and could be seeking a move. Remy has made just 6 Premier League appearances this season and Campbell has only made five league appearances for the Gunners, although he has seen more playing time in recent weeks due to injuries to many first team players.
Both players would represent a serious boost in quality up front for Aston Villa and they should pursue a move in January transfer. Campbell have previously gone on loan to Greek Champions Olympiakos, scoring a wonderful goal against Manchester United, and last season Campbell was on loan with Spanish outfit Villarreal.
Loic Remy signed from relegated Queens Park Rangers and do boast of an impressive scoring record for the Blues despite making more substitute appearances for Chelsea.
A move to Aston Villa would offer the players more playing time and a chance to show to their managers what they could offer to the team in the long run.
