Arsenal will be at “tipping point” regarding Arsene Wenger’s future, says BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton.

Wenger has a season remaining on the two-year contract extension he signed last summer.

But there has been calls for the Frenchman’s head after another disastrous domestic campaign.

The Gunners sit 13 points off the Premier League’s top four, with the Europa League representing their only hope of silverware this season.

The supporters have made their feelings clear this season, with the Emirates thousands short of capacity every week.

And Sutton believes the board may look to replace Wenger as their poor home attendance will eventually become a financial issue.

“Is that the tipping point?,” Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“The fact that the Emirates, it has been empty. It has. I went to the Watford game, nobody there.

“If you’re the owners, and we’re talking about a money-making exercise, then they will be looking at that situation and ‘how are we going to get these people to come back?’

“Arsenal fans have given up.”

Arsenal take on West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday looking to make up for their shock 2-1 defeat to Newcastle last time out.

And they face Atletico Madrid in the Europa League semi-finals as they look to make a return to the Champions League next season.
