Arsenal are throwing in full weight going into the summer transfer window and seem interested in an avalanche of stars.
Arsene Wenger is planning a major title challenge next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
One of such is Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic who has impressive for the Belgian club.
But Arsenal have been handed a massive blow in their pursuit of the 21-years old striker, with Mitrovic’s agent publicly making it clear that his client will snub a move to the Premier League for the Bundesliga this summer.
Nenad Jestrovic told Mozzartsport: “There are some interesting offers from England, but my client is considering moving to Bundesliga. He likes German style of football.”
It was earlier reported that Arsenal had been beaten to his signature by Newcastle.
The report claimed that the Magpies have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £15 million for the striker who has scored 20 goals so far this season for Anderlecht and also dubbed “new Zlatan Ibrahimovic”.
The Serbian will reportedly cost £20 million with Liverpool and Manchester United, Chelsea and Swansea City also keen.
