Arsenal had their best game of the season as they scored five goals past newly promoted Premier League side Huddersfield Town. Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette had three goals and two assist between them.

However, Lacazette played only the first half of the game and picked up a groin injury that has ruled him out of the Manchester United clash for this weekend. per reports.

Lacazette was in fine form last night. With just four minutes into the game, he scored a brilliant goal from a brilliant Aaron Ramson assist to take his tally in the Premier League to seven goals.

France international Oliver Giroud replaced him immediately after half time and the gaffer found the back of the net twice with an assist from Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac.

Arsenal host Manchester United this Saturday in a crunch tie and Wenger revealed that his record signing will not be part of the game.

“It is an injury, it looked like a groin injury so he might be out for a while,” Wenger said.

Cazorla took to twitter to reveal more bad news concerning his injury. The diminutive playmaker revealed that he had to undergo one more surgery, which means his return date would have been extended.

“I have had to undergo surgery because of some discomfort in the tendon that had dragged on over the last few days or so. It is delaying the date of my return to the pitch,” Cazorla explained to his 2.03 million Twitter followers on Wednesday morning.

“I maintain the illusion and motivation to enjoy my great passion, football,” he added positively.
