With just hours left till the end of the 2015 summer transfer window, Arsenal will be looking to wrap up any deals before the 6pm deadline.
And now, fresh reports claims Arsenal are lining up a move for Brazilian teenage sensation Gabriel Barbosa as part of a deadline day rush of transfers.
The 18-year-old forward who plays for Santos has been dubbed the next Neymar after he broke into the first team at Santos two years ago at age sixteen scoring 8 goals in 31 appearances last season.
This form has attracted top European Clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona and Chelsea, but with Wenger desperately trying to land a striker before the transfer deadline, he is expected to become an Arsenal player before Tuesday night.
The only obstacle though lies in the rumours that Barcelona included a first option for him in the deal that took Neymar to Camp Nou two seasons ago, and with his release clause at £40million, Arsenal might be forced to pay close to that to avoid competition from Barcelona, though Santos are willing to negotiate with a starting price of £25million since the striker has only 18 months left on his deal.
Barbosa has already rejected a move to Fenerbache this summer but would be attracted to a club in England such as Arsenal.
With Manchester United signing 19-year-old wonderkid Anthony Martial, Wenger would certainly not want to be outdone.
