According to Football Insider, the East London club are prepared to table a bid in the region of £25m for Walcott’s services and will offer the player a four year deal and a salary package worth £120,000 a week.

West Ham owner David Sulivan revealed on Monday that his club would table an offer for a Premier League forward later this week and sources close to the club told Football insider the owner was talking about Walcott. West Ham are prepared to commit as much as £50m into signing Walcott which would cover the player’s transfer fee and wages.

Walcott has been an important member of the Gunner’s squad in his ten years at Arsenal but has fallen behind Welbeck and Giroud in the club’s pecking order this season.

Walcott has made 261 appearances for the Gunners and as the club’s longest serving player, his exit will mark the end of an era at the Emirates.
