Arsenal are reportedly seeking strong replacements for the various injured stars in the team ahead of the January transfer window.

Arsenal are eyeing a move for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to reports.

Last summer, the Gunners tried to sign the Polish International after losing out to Manchester United for the signature of Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton according to reports.

Krychowiak won the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla in his native land in Portugal, Scoring the equalising goal to bring the tie to 1-1 and the Spanish club went on to win 3-2 against Dnipro.

The 25 years old would add a physical presence to the Gunners midfield and has something extra that Francis Coquelin currently lacks; an eye for goal.

It is claimed that Arsene Wenger has been monitoring Krychowiak’s development since he moved to France as a youngster to join Bordeaux’s academy. The Polish super star has a release clause of £33Million attached to his contract which is actually a bargain for the Gunners to exploit judging from the qualities the player possesses.

The Gunners won’t be having Krychowiak represent them in the UEFA Champions league if they qualify through the group stage as the 25 years old has already featured for Sevilla in this season’s competition, but he would be available for the other competitions that Arsenal are involved in.
