Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in the signature of Barcelona youngster Alex Grilmado, according to reports. The Barcelona B captain is one of the promising talents in the Barcelona academy; playing at the left back position.

The Gunners are keen to secure the players signature in the January transfer window but face stiff competition for the player. Portuguese outfit Benfica, German champions Bayern Munich and Portuguese giants FC Porto are few of the club showing interest in Grilmaldo.

The Gunners signed Hector Bellarin from Barcelona and he is now an established right back at the club; Arsenal seem to have good transfer relationship with the Catalan giants with several players moving between the clubs.

Notable amongst the lot is currently Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who joined Arsenal at a very young age and progressing to be Gunners skipper before re-joining the Nou Camp based outfit, Alexander Hleb moved from Arsenal to Barcelona, Alex Song moved from Arsenal to Barcelona, Fran Mirida joined Arsenal from Barcelona while Hector Bellarin is the latest of the players to move from Barcelona to Arsenal.

This puts Arsenal in pole position above the rest clubs jostling for Grilmado’s signature. The 20 year old has featured 62 times for Barcelona team B, scoring on 4 occasions. A move to the Emirates would sure be good for his career; as he would be playing in a club that have a similar playing style as Barcelona thereby making adaptation easier.
