Latest transfer news reveals Arsenal have been handed a massive blow in signing Leon Bailey when the January transfer window opens this summer.

The Arsenal target has dropped a massive bomb having insists that he is happy at Bayer Leverkusen and has appeared to rule out a move to the Premier League this summer, despite interest from a number of top English clubs.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the Jamaican winger, with some reports putting the Blues at the head of the queue for his signature.

While he did not rule out a move in the future, the 20-year-old says that Leverkusen is the right place for him in his development right now so that he may continue to develop as a player.

Speaking to Bild – as translated by Goal – Bailey said: “Leverkusen is perfect for me. I want to develop and then I can take the next step.

“When I move to a big club, the people there will want to know me. I want to make a name for myself at the highest level.”
