Borussia Dortmund have reportedly placed a £135m price tag on Ousmane Dembele.
The French forward is attracting interest from Barcelona and Arsenal as both clubs attempt to strengthen their wide areas.
They have reportedly made bids for the winger in recent weeks but BVB have turned them down.
According to the Guardian via the Daily Cannon, Dortmund have now placed a £135m price tag on Dembele.
Barcelona who recently sold Neymar for £196m to PSG have identified Dembele as their top target to replace the Brazilian and BVB are determined to get a huge chunk of that money.
The German giants claim it would be difficult for them to adequately replace Dembele at this stage, hence the reason they placed such huge asking price to deter suitors.
Arsenal, one of the winger’s admirers will certainly be put off by the figure being quoted. Knowing how difficult it can be to negotiate with Dortmund, I am sure Wenger will not even try convincing the Germans to soften their stand.
Dembele is believed not be in a hurry to leave Dortmund and this will definitely put his club in a strong position.
Thomas Lemar is Arsenal’s priority to strengthen the attack, it is unlikely Wenger would want to consider a more expensive and difficult player as an alternative.
