Chelsea vs Arsenal. Premier League. 19th September 2015. Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho and his men welcome Arsene Wenger’s side to Stamford Bridge in Saturday‘s Premier League lunch time kick-off.
Mourinho has concerns in attack, after ruling out both Willian and Pedro for the Arsenal clash, with muscle and thigh injuries respectively. As a result, Oscar would seem set for his second league start after impressing in midweek.
The Portuguese could also turn to Loic Remy to fill the void on the right flank, with Ramires a further option.
Nemanja Matic is expected to return to the midfield engine room and could again partner Cesc Fabregas, with Oscar deployed behind the striker in the number ten role. The situation is less clear at the back, with Baba Rahman getting his first start for the Blues in midweek.
Rahman will hope to retain his place for the visit of Arsenal, though Branislav Ivanovic would seem more likely to be recalled at right-back with César Azpilicueta switching flank.
John Terry dropped down to the bench in midweek, though should return at the weekend, with Gary Cahill likeliest to make way as Kurt Zouma retains his league start.
Thibaut Courtois remains on the treatment table with a knee injury.
Having said this, here is how Mourinho is expected to line-up his side against Arsenal.
