Chelsea vs Arsenal. Premier League. 19th September 2015. Stamford Bridge.
Arsene Wenger and his men will take a short bus trip across London to take on old rivals Chelsea in what promises to be a fierce Saturday Premier League London derby at Stamford Bridge.
Wenger could have Per Mertesacker available, after the German missed out in Zagreb in midweek with a knock.
However, the Gunners’ boss could keep faith with Gabriel alongside Laurent Koscielny at the heart of defence following three consecutive clean sheets in the league.
The rest of the back four should remain unchanged from the side that earned victory against Stoke, with Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal returning in the full-back positions.
There is further competition in midfield, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mikel Arteta both pushing for starts at Stamford Bridge.
Wenger however, would seem set to retain Aaron Ramsey, either in a central role, or out wide.
Further forward, the central striker’s spot remains up for grabs, with Theo Walcott perhaps in the driving seat having notched against Stoke and in Zagreb.
Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere remain on the sidelines through injury.
Having said this, here is how I expect Wenger to line-up his against Jose Mourinho’s side.
