Arsenal are interested in signing Chile wonderkid Marcelo Allende, according to reports.

More than a dozen number of talented young players have been linked with us in recent weeks as it is believed the club have made signing youngsters its priorities and Allende is reportedly on our wish list.

Allende was captain of the Chile U17 team in the last U17 world cup and has developed into one of Chile’s brightest talents in recent years.

The midfielder is not a stranger to the decision makers at Arsenal as he previously had a two-week trial at our club but we decided against signing him.

The Daily Star via Arsenalstation.com are now claiming we have renewed our interest in the youngster having watched him develop into a better player since his trial with us.

The report claims the young midfielder asked Alexis Sanchez about life in the Premier League and the forward was said to have told him to bulk up if he wants to make it in England.

It appears the youngster took Sanchez’ advice to bulk up as he has become a better player since he had the trial.

We will continue to keep tabs on the youngster and I wouldn’t be surprised if we make a move again in the future.
