Jack Wilshere has emerged as a target for Turkish side Antalyaspor, according to reports.
Wilshere has fallen out of favour at Arsenal and was loaned out last season to Premier League side Bournemouth.
Reports have suggested the England international is not part of Arsene Wenger’s plans going forward and he will be allowed to leave permanently this summer.
Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb
claim Sampdoria have already made a £6million bid for the 25-year-old, which is below the Gunners’ £9m asking price.
However the report says Turkish side Antalyaspor are also tracking Wilshere and are willing to meet Arsenal’s demands in full, with all that remains being Wilshere agreeing on the deal.
Speaking last week about Wilshere’s position at the club, Arsene Wenger claimed the midfielder would not be sold.
“I think Jack will be with Arsenal next season, yes.
“I will give you a very focused answer on that, that he has to work hard to come back and fight for a place in the team.
“But once he is ready, when he comes back, he will not be far from practising with the team.”
However, the Daily Mail have since claimed Wenger has had a change of heart and is looking to offload the injury-prone midfielder.
Wilshere made 29 appearances last term for Bournemouth but did not cause much of a stir on the south coast.
The former Luton youngster saw his season end in injury once again as he missed the last five games of the season with a calf fracture.
His current deal with Arsenal runs until June 2018.
