Arsenal begin their 2015/2016 Champions League campaign with a trip to Zagreb to take on Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb.
Arsene Wenger had earlier in the week confirmed via the club’s official website that Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck will be unavailable for the trip to take on the Croatian invicibles on Wednesday night due to injury of various degrees to the trio.
Vice-captain Per Mertesacker has remained a doubt for the clash despite recovering from an illness that saw him miss two games for the Gunners, and being unhurt from a minor car crash earlier this week.
Now, Arsenal have officially added to this list of stars that will not make the team against Dinamo via a tweet on the club’s official twitter account.
The tweet revealed that Aaron Ramsey and Hector Bellerin have been dropped from the squad, possibly to rest them for weekends’ vital clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
