Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will remain at the Emirate Stadium this summer.
The 23-year-old has just one year remaining on his current contract and has not yet committed to a new deal due to concerns over his role in the team.
Recent reports have strongly linked the 23-year-old with a move to Liverpool who have expressed an interest in his services.
That also comes after rumours which have suggested that Oxlade-Chamberlain has turned down a new deal at the club.
Liverpool have registered their interest and reports have claimed that Arsenal would be open to selling the midfielder if a £25 million offer was received.
But according to Wenger, the England international, who is currently pocketing £65,000-a-week in wages, will be playing for Arsenal regardless of what is being speculated.
“Yes. 100%, I expect him to stay. No matter the speculation, he will stay.” the Arsenal manager said
