Arsenal interest in signing one of World’s most sort-after midfielders has been confirmed by popular Spanish journalist Kike Marin.
Arsenal are said to be keen on a deal to sign midfield playmaker Paul Pogba after the player reportedly handed in a transfer request at Juventus.
With interest from major clubs across Europe, Pogba is arguably one of the most sort-after players in World football today.
Pogba, who can play anywhere in midfield has got three Premier League giants – Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea – hot on his heels this summer.
But reports say that despite his handing in a transfer request, the 22-year-old is yet to make a decision on where he would ply his trade next season; however, it is believed that the highest bidder would most likely secure his signature in the summer.
A whooping £70million price tag has been slapped on Pogba’s head and popular Spanish Journalist Kike Marin has revealed that despite Arsenal’s keen interest in the midfielder, the huge transfer fee puts Pogba beyond the Gunners reach.
In the Premier League as it stands, United are said to be leading the race for his signature with Chelsea not far behind.
