Pato’s presence at the Bridge remains a surprise but the Blues could surprise all by snapping the striker under the nose of their rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.

Chelsea have a number of Brazil international in their squad and should the striker move to Stamford bridge, he won’t have problems settling into the squad.

His injury records at AC Milan remains a cause to worry for both the Gunners’ and the Blues’ faithful but if the striker is over his injury days he will be a major coup for any club that wins his signature.

It remains to be seen whether Mourinho, Wenger or Klopp will complete a move for the striker when the transfer window opens, but one thing is certain Pato will me moving to Europe next month.
