Arsenal will not be adding another goalkeeper to their ranks next season says manager Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal has been linked with Chelsea legend Petr Cech in recent weeks but Wenger has poured cold water on the speculations by saying he believes in the goalkeepers he has.
Chelsea veteran Cech, has been subject to a summer transfer away from Stamford Bridge after losing his place in the first team to young and in-form Thibaut Courtois.
The 32-year-old who currently earns £120,000-a-week is said to be unhappy with the situation and will seek a move away from the club in the summer, putting several top clubs on red alert for his signature.
Arsenal was reportedly among the clubs vying for his signature but Wenger has moved to dismiss such speculations in his pre-match press conference ahead of Hull City clash on Monday night.
“I believe in the goalkeepers I have. I believe that Szczesny is a very good goalkeeper and Ospina has come in and done a fantastic job. You look at the numbers in the Premier League and you look at who is top of all the goalkeepers and you will see it’s Ospina.” Wenger said when asked if the goalkeepers available at his disposal are good enough to win titles.
