Ex Gabon international Daniel Cousin believes Aubameyang is interested in a move to England and has urged the forward to join Arsenal.

Wenger is very keen on signing a striker this summer and should Aubameyang declare his interest to move to England, it wouldn’t be surprising if England’s top clubs fight for his services.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been linked with a move to sign the forward. But Cousin believes Aubameyang will be more suited to the Arsenal style of play.

When asked which team Aubameyang should join in England, Cousin said:

“Arsenal. Because the team plays very well. And Arsenal need a striker to win the title next season.

“And I think if he plays with [Mesut] Ozil, he gives good assists. I think he can play very well with this team.”

Cousin went on to add: “I think he wants to move to England. The Premier League is a different style than in Germany. It’s more physical.

“For me I think it’s a good moment for Pierre to move to a big club like Man United or Man City.

“I think he can score more goals and get more experience with a big team. They have now Mourinho at Man United and Guardiola [at Man City]. I think this kind of coach can help Pierre-Emerick to progress more.”

Borussia Dortmund are unwilling to sell the forward and have publicly denied any attempt to sell the striker. However, Gabon manager Jorge Costa claimed Aubameyang was asked not to be selected for international duties because he was changing clubs.
