Arsenal are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Thorgan Hazard, according to The Sun.

The midfielder has been in fine form this season, featuring 23 times in the league and appears to have done enough to impress Wenger.

Arsenal are keen to strengthen it’s attacking options ahead of next summer and have drawn up a list of targets. The Sun are now claiming Hazard has been added to the club’s short-list.

The Gunners are now prepared to thrash out a summer deal worth about £15.5m to bring the Belgian back to the Premier League.

Thorgan, who happens to be the younger brother of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard was also a Chelsea player but left the Blues for Monchengladbach, after failing to make a single start for them in his three year stint at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal now wants to bring him back to London but we could face stiff competition from Everton. The Merseyside outfit are also keen on the winger and will compete with Arsenal for his services.

Hazard has always declared his desire to return to England in the future and this could well be the summer his wish will come to fruition.
