Mathieu Debuchy has been offered a £2.3m-a-season contract by Besiktas.

The France international is deemed surplus to requirements at Arsenal following Hector Bellerin’s rise to prominence.

Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for the former Newcastle man.

And Turkish outlet Takvim claim Besiktas have registered an interest.

Debuchy on his own part is also desperate to leave Arsenal following a disappointing stint at the Emirates and with limited offers on the table for him, Besiktas looks set to be his next destination.

The report adds that the France international will most likely have to take a huge pay-cut to his current £85,000-a-week deal at Arsenal.
