Arsenal have promoted youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide to the first team ahead of the 2016/2017 season, according to Jeorge Bird.
The youngster is highly rated at the Emirates and is seen as one who could be a star for the club in the future. He has now been given the chance to make a name for himself as he would now be a member of the first team next season.
The 18 year old youngster can play either as a winger or an attacking midfielder and he has been impressive for the club’s youth team since joining from Lens. He has made two first team appearances for the Gunners already and will be looking to add to that tally next term.
According to the report, the winger would be wearing the number 20 shirt next season after he was seen donning that Jersey number in the club’s pre-season training which started earlier this week.
Reine-Adelaide will be hoping to follow the path of Alex Iwobi and make his own impact in the first team next term.
Iwobi was promoted to the first team last pre season and became one of the team’s best player towards the end of last season.
Wenger has always praised the amount of quality we have in the academy and the promotion of Reine-Adelaide is a testament of that.
