Arsenal have reportedly made an improved bid for AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.
Monaco had rejected an £87m bid from Arsenal for the striker earlier in the transfer window but that hasn’t deterred Wenger who is still determined to sign the teenager.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City have all been linked with the striker and are also prepared to break the world transfer record to land him. But Arsenal are prepared to go toe-to-toe with its rivals as Wenger steps up striker’s pursuit.
According to Sports Mole, Arsenal have now made a £123m bid to sign the striker but Monaco have turned it down as they have no interest in selling their prized asset
However, it is unclear whether Mbappe would choose to move to the Emirates or the Bernabeu as Real Madrid also hold a concrete interest in his services.
According to France Football via The Daily Cannon, the striker could be convinced to join Real Madrid.
The striker’s mother now wants him to join Real Madrid after Zinedine Zidane and Fiorentino Perez visited them in France.
The player is still undecided about his future, and is quoted as saying “I don’t know if I will stay”, when questioned about his future.
It remains to be seen which club will eventually sign Mbappe. Hopefully, it will be Arsenal.
