Arsenal are reportedly prepared to pay Diogo Leite’s €15m release clause to sign him from Porto this summer.
Leite played the full 90 minutes of Porto’s 1-0 win over Arsenal’s (understrength) u23s on Tuesday night at the Emirates to pick up the Premier League International Cup once again, but the youngster could be back playing regularly in London if O Jogo are correct.
In their Wednesday edition they write that Arsenal are prepared to meet the release fee in his contract which sits at around €15m.
Leite is a left-footed centreback who can play either left or right in the centre or as a right-back.
He has yet to make his senior debut for Porto.
