Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed he will be leaving the Emirates at the end of this month, on a free, for “football” reasons, after a deal to make him stay did not as so much budge him to commit for the long-term.

Wilshere has been hampered by series of injuries, diminishing his chances of a first team start at the club under Unai Emery. It is understood he was admired by former boss Arsene Wenger and was a crucial part of Wenger’s plans during the Frenchman’s stint at the club before his sudden exit.

The England international has been linked to a host of clubs with Fernebache and Besiktas, top suitors for his signature.

Besiktas have reportedly made an attempt to sign him, but Turkish sources claim he is demanding excessively from the outfit, one which has shut the chances of him going to Turkey to continue his footballing career.

According to Gunes, the Turkish outlet claimed that Jack Wilshere demanded an excess of £3 million-a-year as wages, exceeding his former pay at the Emirates.

This, however, discouraged the Turkish outfit, one that has pushed them behind in the race for the player.

Nevertheless, Wilshere’s exit statement has aroused the interests of Fernebache who have reached out to his representatives.

The absence of the Englishman next term is believed will break the hearts of the London-side fans
