The Gunners have officially announced the transfer of young midfielder Daniel Crowley to Barnsley.
Arsenal made this announcement recently via the club’s official website, and the 17-year-old midfielder will join the League One side on loan until January to gain more senior experience.
Barnsley manager Lee Johnson who fended off competition from other clubs to secure the loan transfer of Crowley told the Red’s official website.
“I’m delighted to welcome Dan on board. He is an exceptional and exciting talent who is very highly thought of at Arsenal and we are extremely pleased that we have been entrusted with his further development.
“Dan has genuine, top-level skill and quality. I am delighted Arsenal have chosen Barnsley to aid the development of this exceptional talent, as well as aiding us in our pursuit of promotion.”
The technically-gifted midfielder who has been tipped for a big future at Arsenal is the latest youngster to be sent out on loan by Arsenal ahead of the new season.
