Arsenal have a deal in place to sign Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin, according to reports.
The striker was linked with a move to the Emirates last summer but the Gunners failed to complete the move before deadline day and reportedly made an approach to sign the striker again in recent weeks.
French football now claims Arsenal are close to signing the Russia international for a fee of £4.4m. Although it is not a straight forward deal as it is claimed that the Gunners will only sign the striker on one condition.
The striker will only complete a move to the Emirates if the Gunners suffer an injury to any of their attackers or if Danny Welbeck who has been out of action since the beginning of the season suffers another injury setback.
“Striker injury-crisis” essentially refers to if Danny Welbeck has another set-back. France Football explain it as an arrangement “in case”.

The striker is reportedly keen on moving to the premier and the striker has been urged by former Man Utd winger to move to the premier league if Arsenal comes calling.
