Lucas Perez is closing in on a move to Fenerbahce, according to reports in Turkey.
Just yesterday, Perez’s agent claimed the Turkish giants are one of the four clubs that have made a concrete offer for the striker and Sabah via Sport Witness are now claiming Fenerbahce have agreed terms with Arsenal over the transfer of the striker.
The report claims talks between both clubs have been positive in recent weeks and Perez will be plying his trade in Turkey next term.
Wenger recently confirmed that the 28 year old would be allowed to leave the Emirates this summer because of competition for places in the centre forward position.
“I don’t like to lose him but we have main strikers and too much competition is no competition anymore,” the boss said.
The player is also keen on the move and both the player and the club are set to have their wish granted.
How much Fenerbahce has agreed to pay hasn’t been revealed but it has been reported before now that Arsenal won’t accept a fee less than €15m for the Spaniard.
Perez had wanted a move back to LA Liga but his former club Deportivo were unable to meet Arsenal’s demand, leaving Fenerbahce as front runners for his signature.
