London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham are in an off-pitch battle as both clubs vy for the signature of Barcelona midfielder Rafinha this summer.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Spurs have developed deep interest in the Brazil international.

Nevertheless, they are not the only European outfit trying to break their way through to signing the midfielder. Italian giant Inter Milan are believed to have registered their interests in acquiring the 25-year-old services.

After a vintage display at the San Siro last summer, the Sao Paulo native is understood to have caught the attention of the Milan outfit who are desperately searching for alternatives in the market to bolster their squad ahead of the Champions League next term.

North London outfit Arsenal also have their eyes fixed on the out-of-favour Barca man, with new gossips suggesting boss Unai Emery is a fan of the player.

However, the Gunners will battle stubborn rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race for his services as Spurs prepare for a summer revamp that will boost the strength of Pochettino’s men in the coming season.

Rafinha debuted for the Spanish champions Barcelona,  for the first time in 2011. And although with few streaks of decent football at the club, the Brazilian has struggled to break ranks at the Nou Camp.

Transfermarkt has valued the star at 28,00 Mill. €.
