After coming on as a second-half substitute in the 3-2 defeat to Man United, Olivier Giroud looks set to be recalled to the starting XI for the home encounter with Swansea.
This could see him replace Theo Walcott up front, whilst Danny Welbeck may also drop to the bench after Wenger admitted he is not “completely fit” to deal with such a hectic schedule following a long period on the sidelines due to injury.
With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ruled out for two months, Wenger could turn to Joel Campbell wide right as he looks to freshen things up ahead of Saturday’s north London derby against Tottenham.
Mohamed Elneny and Mathieu Flamini provide alternatives to Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey in central midfield, while Kieran Gibbs may start at left-back in place of Nacho Monreal.
Rotation could also see Per Mertesacker earn a recall to the starting XI, with Gabriel the most likely to make way. Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky remain out.
