Arsenal play host to Burnley in Saturday afternoon’s Premier League kick-off. And although Arsene Wenger would still be troubled by the absence of a handful of his stars still sidelined due to one injury or the other, he would however be confident of picking up all three point from a Burnley side that currently lie at the bottom of the log with 4 points.
There shouldn’t be much trouble in the selection process for the match. And it expected for Wenger to throw in a couple of fringe player at some point or the other. However the boss is likely to filed-out his best stars in a bid to get them into a rhythm which many Arsenal fans are yet to see this season, aside the home game against Galatasary of course which saw fluidity in our play.
Long time absentee – Theo Walcott, who has been out of action and on the treatment table since the start of the year with a Cruciate knee ligament injury has revealed his likely participation in this weekend’s League match against Burnley at the Emirates. It cant be denied that Walcott has been missed by every Arsenal faithful. With his blistering pace down the flanks leading to scintillating counter-attacking football capable of changing any game at any time and against any opponent.
Calum Chambers will be available for selection after serving out his suspension two weekend’s ago. Meaning Hector Bellerin will most likely watch the game from the bench again. though i would rather prefer drifting Chambers in the middle to pair with Per and have Bellerin start, but its now clear that Wenger is bent on converting Monreal to a centre defender – with the boss handing him a lot of game time in the middle with the clear intentions of getting him adapted to the position.
Wenger is also likely to hand one of his finest midfielders Aaron Ramsey a start in this weekend’s game with the intention of getting him back to his best after a short injury lay-off he suffered.
Below is my predicted Arsenal line-up for the clash against Burnley.
