Arsenal target Ricardo Rodriguez could move to Italy should he receive a concrete offer from a club in the Serie A.
The Switzerland international is looking for a move away from Wolfsburg and have been linked with Arsenal and it is believed Wenger is weighing the possibility of activating the player’s €25m release clause.
The defender has already revealed he will be excited to move to the Emirates but will wait until after the Euros to decide his future.
The player’s agent Gianluca Di Domenico has revealed the player’s clause is now active and is open to a move to Italy. AS Roma have also been linked with the 23 year old left back and his agent has encouraged the Italian club to make an official offer.
“Today, Ricardo Rodriguez has a termination clause, which was not there before. You have to respect the contracts,” Gianluca Di Domenico told Italian outlet TMW Radio, as quoted by the Express.
“Ricardo loves Italy so much, so surely if there was a serious proposal we would see. But we need to see if there will be.”
Wolfsburg has already confirmed the defender is keen on leaving and the German club are prepared to sell him should they receive an official offer.
Arsenal are also looking to sign a Left back as a replacement for Kieran Gibbs who could leave the club this summer.
