Arsenal are set to sign another previously unknown but talented midfield youngster, and this time it’s Accrington Stanley winger Josh Windass.
The 21-year-old who has been in superb form this season, scoring 8 times in 16 appearances so far has attracted a number of interests, with Arsenal now leading the race to sign him.
The former Huddersfield youngster who was released from Huddersfield academy before joining Holgate Rover then later joining Accrignton Stanley where he is making his name, making it into the first team and establishing himself as a prolific winger, with 14 goals in 61 appearances for Accrington.
Josh Windass has a good footballing background, with his father having played football professionally, and he also obviously has the mental strength to have gone from a Huddersfield reject to a league two hotshot, which is something Wenger always appreciates in his players.
Wenger who has a reputation for unearthing such talents has been impressed enough to make the first move by preparing a 1 million pounds bid for him and will be hoping to land him in January
