Arsene Wenger is set to remain at Arsenal next season, according to a report in Tribal Football.
The manager’s contract expires at the end of the season and he is yet to sign a new deal. There have been speculations about his future, with some reports claiming he could leave the Emirates at the end of the season.
However, Le10sports claim that there is belief among agents that Wenger will stay at Arsenal beyond the current campaign.
The boss is showing no signs that he won’t be at the Emirates next season. Despite refusing to commit his future to the club, Wenger is already working on new signings that will strengthen our squad ahead of next season. Also he has been involved in preseason preparation, hotel booking and devising new training methods.
The report claims, negotiations have begun over potential summer arrivals and when in talks with agents over summer signings, Wenger has made it known that he is likely to remain in charge of Arsenal next year.
Indeed, Wenger’s involvement in the club’s future plans is a big indication that he will sign a new deal with us. If it wasn’t going to be so, everything as regards next season would be at a standstill until a new manager is appointed.
However, Wenger’s decision not to sign a new contract yet is putting the club in the spot light too much. I am hoping he will sign a new contract this month to avoid further distraction.
