Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are interested in signing Palmieras striker Gabriel Jesus, according to reports.
According to the Metro via CarcioMercato24, Gunners official are set to fly out to Brazil to begin talks with the Brazilian club over the transfer of the 18 year old.
The 18 year old is currently experiencing a superb breakthrough season at the Brazil top flight league. The report also claims the player has set his sight on a move to England and he is keen to join the North London club.
The 18 year old is a versatile striker and is capable of leading the line or playing on the left side of an attack.
It’s been claimed that the 18 year old is a better prospect compared to Neymar and the North London club are keen to snap the next big player coming out of Brazil before other European heavyweights begin to circle around the striker.
It is claimed that Brazil legend Ronaldo is personally helping the striker to find a club in Europe that will aid the striker’s development.
Juventus, Benfica and Roma are reportedly watching the 18 year old but the Gunners stand a better chance in signing the player.
The striker scored 37 goals in 22 appearances for Palmieras U18 side and was a star man for Brazil FIFA U20 side earlier this year.
