Gooners are set to receive a huge boost in Arsenal’s attempt to tie three of its key personnels down to a new deal.
In its post match analysis of our Wednesday’s Champions League game against Ludogorets which ended 6-0 in our favor, The Times have revealed that Arsene Wenger, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are close to agreeing new deals.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have been in talks with the club over a new contract. Negotiations with the duo have dragged on for a long time with some reports claiming we could lose them next summer.
The report via 101 great goals has hinted that we have made a breakthrough in negotiations with the duo and they could both sign a new deal at the club soon.
Wenger’s future at the club has also been the subject of speculation in recent weeks. The boss is in the final year of his contract and he has said he will not sign a new deal until the end of the season.
The report has now revealed we have drawn out a new two year deal for the boss which is under lock and key in Stan Kroenke’s office.
This will be good news to as many of us who have been worried about losing our star players and manager.
Ozil and Sanchez have been important players in our squad since they joined in 2013 and 2014 respectively and it is exciting to hear that they will remain with us for a long time.
