GOOD NEWS As Wenger Personally Confirm ANOTHER Injury Boost Ahead Of Hull Clash

Arsenal have been handed a massive boost ahead of their long run of games in the Premier League, Champions League and the FA Cup.

Arsenal duo Jack Wilshere Santi Carzola are closing in on a return to full fitness, according to the manager.

The Gunners duo have been out of action since last year but the good news is they are set to return towards the business end of the season.

Wilshere has been out of since the Gunners preseason tour and is yet to feature for the North London side while Carzola suffered a knee injury in November that has kept him out on the sidelines but Wenger has now revealed that the players are close to returning to action.

Wenger told the clubs official website: “They (Cazorla and Wilshere) are back running, they are on a fitness programme now so it means it is not a question of months anymore, it is a question of weeks for them to be back.”

Welbeck suffered a knee injury in April last year and could return for the Gunners in their FA cup fixture against Hull City.

“He is doing well, it is a bit early for him maybe but he is now back to full power in training. It is a big possibility (he could be involved against Hull next week).”

This news will come as goodnews to the Gunners faithful who would want the entire squad to be fit as the club battles for trophies in three front. Should the Gunners defeat European giants Barcelona later this month, they will be on course to fight for the treble which will be a difficult task if players are out injured.
