Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are set to stun Manchester United with a whopping £42 Million bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Manchester United were set to make a bid for the Gabonese international to join the Old Trafford but that move could be set to hit the rocks as Arsenal are planning a big money move for the player in the January transfer window.
Star Sport revealed last month that United were in the race for the £45 Million rated ace as the Red devils have had the 26-year-old watched on several occasion. But the Sun has reported that Arsene Wenger wants to complete the shock move ahead of their rival this month as reports has it that Arsenal intermediaries are already talking to Dortmund over a possible move.
Aubameyang has already scored 24 goals in 23 appearances for Dortmund and he also became the first player in the history of the Bundesliga to score in his first 8 matches earlier in the season. His goal return is something Arsenal and Arsene Wenger needs to fire the club to their first league title since 2004 league season where the Gunners went unbeaten all through the season.
