Arsene Wenger is prepared to give a couple of youngsters the chance to stake a claim in the first team, according to reports.
The manager is known for giving youngsters the chance of progressing into first team and that has been evident in the last couple of years with Alex Iwobi being the most recent to progress from the academy into the first team. Wenger is now set to integrate more players into the squad for next season and will keep a close watch on a number of youngsters this summer.
According to Goal, a couple of youngsters will be given the chance to impress Wenger in the club’s preseason while several youngsters would be farmed out on loan to gain first team experience.
According to the report, Arsenal are set to loan out Glen Kamara, Ismael Bennacer and Julio Pleguezuelo.
Other youngsters like Krystian Bielik, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Gedion Zelalem and Chris Willock would be given the chance to impress the boss in preseason. The youngsters are expected to feature heavily in the club’s preseason friendlies that will take place in the next couple of weeks.
We would be hoping the youngsters make good use of the opportunity to impress the boss because seeing the young players turning out for the first team upholds the club’s academy long tradition of producing quality talents for the first team.
