Olympic Lyon youngster Corentin Tolisso says his dream is to join Arsenal in the future, according to a report in Goal.
The 22 year old is one of the highly rated young players in the French Ligue 1 and he has developed into a key player for Lyon in recent years.
The midfielder has now revealed he wants to move to the Premier League in the future. He thinks the style of the EPL suits him better and he is particularly keen on moving to North London.
“There are a lot of clubs that make me dream like Real Madrid, Barcelona or an English club like Arsenal,” Tolisso told France Football.
“I like the Premier League and I think it’s a league that suits me.
“The Premier League is the most competitive, the most open and the most spectacular league.”
Arsenal have a good history of working with French players and that could have played a part in the midfielder’s preference for our club.
Over the years, Arsene Wenger has developed a good scouting network in France which has helped us sign some of the country’s best talents. Majority of them have been successful with us which has in turn made our club popular in the country.
French players aside, we are known for nurturing young players to become top class footballers, with Laurent Koscielny a perfect example and Tolisso knows moving to a club like ours could be the best move for a young player like him.
The midfielder played 45 games for Lyon last season, scoring seven goals and creating seven others for his teammates.
