Isco is the man of the moment following his sensational performance for Spain against Argentina on Tuesday night.
The Spanish wizard scored a hat-trick as Argentina – with Lionel Messi watching on from the stands – were crushed 6-1 in their World Cup warm up clash.
It was a stunning display from the Real Madrid star, who then admitted that his future at the Bernabeu was far from clear.
“In Madrid I don’t have the confidence a player needs,” he explained in his post-match interview.
“The matches with the national team give me life, here I have the confidence of the coach. I want to show that I’m a good player.
“Maybe I’m the problem in Madrid. I don’t know how to win Zidane’s confidence.”
Following on from those comments, shock news emerged from Spain suggesting that Madrid would be willing to let the playmaker leave this summer as part of what is planned to be a huge shake up by the Champions League holders.
Isco has a release clause of a staggering £650 million, but the reports state £75m could be enough to get a deal done this summer.
