Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Adrien Rabiot wants loan move away from PSG as Spurs and Arsenal prepare to pounce.
The PSG midfielder has asked the club to let him go out on loan during the January transfer window. Despite still being in and around the first team in recent weeks, mainly due to injury to Marco Verratti, The French international has become frustrated with happening in the Ligue 1 champions and is seeking a move away from Paris.
The 20 years old is a touted as one of the next big thing in to emerge from French football along with Juventus Paul Pogba. The French youngster can play in the central midfield position, attacking midfield position or as a defensive midfielder; which make him an asset to have in any squad.
Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal is currently being hit with series of injuries in their midfield section of the team; Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere, Santi Carzola, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky are players that could play in a similar position to Rabiot but they are all out of the reckoning for the Gunners after each player nursing one injury or the other, leaving the Gunners short of option in the central midfield position.
Rabiot would be an interesting acquisition for Arsene Wenger as the 20 years old would be more than a welcome addition to help deputise for the imjured players thereby fulfilling his wish for regular playing time
