Hull City vs Arsenal. 4th May 2015. KC Stadium.
Arsenal despite losing out on the Premier League title went all out for the kill against Hull City at the KC Stadium.
Here are four things we learnt from the match against Steve Bruce’s side.
We are prepared for next season.
Many have pointed out the Gunners poor start to the league campaign as the main reason the Gunners are not champions this term.
The race for the 2014/2015 league title may be over, but the match against the Tigers was tagged by many as a test for the Gunners ahead of the new season. And Arsene Wenger’s men went into the match as though the title chase was still on.
Three goals in the first half against a decent Hull City side on the night; a good marker for next season.
We lost the league title but not our spirit.
Chelsea clinched the league title after seeing off Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
But Wenger and his lads went into the game at the KC Stadium in high spirit, finding the back of the net three times in the first half and equally defending well all through the game.
The Gunners are still unbeaten in the league, with the last defeat dating back to January against Tottenham.
Ramsey unhurt will push us further.
Aaron Ramsey scored one and assisted another tonight.
The Welshman has had an injury troubled season, but has proved that when fit; he can help push the team further.
Arsenal fans will be hoping to see an unhurt Ramsey do more for the team next term.
Cazorla is simply World class
His pass to Ramsey for the second goal, another for Alexis Sanchez’s missed one-on-one chance, plus several others give us the assurance that this World class pass-master will play a big part in our quest for the league title next season.
