Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is set for another transfer window filled with struggle to not only bring in players, but to keep his current squad together.
Off course, this summer transfer window was expected to be a tough one for the Frenchman and everyone concerned with Arsenal in general due to the club’s failure to nail a Champions League spot. Lo and behold, the anticipated summer exodus has somewhat begun.
According to the Express, David Ospina is waiting for Arsenal to make a decision on his future.
“I haven’t made my decision yet,” he said, according to Sporx.
“I am waiting for Arsenal to decide, I’m on holiday and it should all be sorted by the the time it is over.
“If Arsenal are not going to give me the playing time I want they can loan me to another club.”
In my own opinion, Ospina has done enough for Arsenal to keep hold of him going forward. The Colombian can slot straight into many Premier League club’s starting lineup and with the likely-hood of Wojciech Szcz?sny returning to the Emirates very slim, Wenger should guarantee the 28 year old enough playing time next season – and keep to his words thereafter not just making promises!
Gooners, what’s your take on Ospina’s demands? Outrageous or expected?
